Partner with us
We benefit from and enjoy partnerships with respectful, ethical individuals, groups, and organizations. We prioritize those who are interested in extending our mission and goals. We prioritize activities and venues where people who have little access to funds, transportation, and seeds can be served. There are several ways to partner with the Napa County Seed Library:
Showcase our nonprofit as an educational exhibitor at your non-commercial event focused on diverse crop regenerative agriculture, the environment, or human health.
Book a skill or knowledge share to receive in-person or online education about the seed library movement; aspects of ethical seed saving; or how to save, grow, and harvest seeds.
Co-create a collaborative hands-on activity to extend the fun, knowledge, and skills of basic gardening and seed saving.
Build a seed library annex to add to our network.
We carefully select partners for collaborations. Our consider partners who fits the profile descriptions below. Our seed library annexes operate as a network of intentionally placed kiosks established within Napa County. sharing seeds and knowledge about seed keeping are active in our neighborhoods and needed for those who have little access to funds, transportation, and seeds. These little free seed libraries are places where you can borrow, grow, save, and return organic, locally adapted seeds. Each seed library annex serves a unique and hyperlocal community.

Many people commented on the North Napa seed library annex (pictured on this page) and asked, “How was it built?” Jeff explained how he put it all together.
“The seed library was built around a repurposed bathroom cabinet. The particleboard cabinet needed to be weather-resistant so I constructed a weatherproof shell around the cabinet—essentially a “jacket” and a “hat.” Finally, I mounted on two 4x4 posts at the build site near the sidewalk for easy public access.”
