Seeds to Sow in February

There are many seeds you can plant directly outdoors now, and a few key favorites you can start indoors.

Hey there and hello February! It’s our favorite month—our co-founders’ birthdays, Black History Month, Valentine’s Day, the shortest month of the year—so much to celebrate! Time to sow seeds, both indoors and out, and continue to check for frost so that our plotting and planting brings a strong start to spring.

This month, you can plant directly many seeds into the soil outdoors and you can start a few key favorites indoors. Review the lists below to find out what’s good to go.

Direct Sow these Veggies 🪴🥕🥦

beet, broccoli, cabbage, carrot, cauliflower, chive, fava bean, leek, lettuce, onion, pea, radish, spinach

Direct Sow these Flowers 🌸🪷🌼
