Seed Tape is on Substack!
Our newsletter moved from our website to Substack! Why? It’s easier and more fun to write, connect with you, and publish from that platform. We’ll leave our monthly seeds to sow blog posts here for a time. But if you want the latest from us, tap the button below.

Seeds to Sow in June
Happy June 1st! It’s officially Pride Month and the first day of hurricane season. Bring it on! Sow your seeds this month by broadcasting them to the wind to expand the plant biodiversity in your own backyard.
Seeds to Sow in May
Seeds that wake up in warm soil are popping up all over now in May in Napa County (Zone 9b)–whether you sowed them yourself or not!

If you’re really ahead of planting this season, you may have started tomato and pepper seeds indoors. In any case, March is a great month to start in Zone 9b.
